Preparing Your Items for Shipment to Couture BoutiqueBefore sending your designer items to Couture, please be sure that all items...
- are in good condition (new or slightly used)
- are free of stains, tears or other damage that may reduce the value of the item. Ideally, all items should be cleaned (preferably dry cleaned) prior to shipping. Upon receipt of your items and if deemed necessary, Couture retains the right to have the items dry-cleaned, pressed or repaired at the consignor’s expense.
- are 100% authentic designer items. Please be sure to include any and all authenticity cards or proof of purchase (i.e. receipts, packaging, original tags, etc.). Please see our list of accepted brands/designers.
If there are any questions about the brands that we accept or the condition of your items, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Packing & Shipping Your ItemsCouture Boutique will accept items shipped by any of the following methods:
- UPS
- FedEx
- USPS (US Postal Service)
- Drop-off at our retail location (by appointment only)
As the consignor/seller, you will be responsible for all shipping costs (including all duties, taxes, and customs fees, if applicable) related to the shipment of your items to Couture Boutique. In the event that we do not accept your items or that your items do not sell, you will also be responsible for all return shipping, handling, and packaging costs.
NOTE: Couture highly recommends that you purchase shipping insurance and delivery confirmation (i.e. Package Tracking) for your package in case of damage or lost shipment. Couture will not be responsible for any damage that may occur during the shipping process.

Final Pre-Shipping ChecklistBefore sending your final package to Couture, please ask yourself the following questions to be sure you've include all of the necessary information.
- Have I completed the online consignment request form or have I spoken to Couture Boutique about the items I'm about to ship?
- If I've chosen to consign my items...
- If I've chosen to sell my items to Couture...
- have I included a copy of the upfront purchase quote sent by Couture?
- Have I reviewed my items to be sure that all items are clean and free of stains tears or any other damage?
- Have I packed my items to be sure that no damage will be suffered during the shipping process?
- Do I need to insure my packages before I ship to Couture Boutique (just in case the package gets lost)?
If you can answer "YES" to all of these questions, then congratulations...you're ready to send us your package!
